Hello everyone,my English name is Michael.My partners and I hold the point of view that after graduation,we’d better take postgraduate entrance exam instead of hunting for job.
According to my partner,we think that the students who pass the postgraduate entrance exam have more competitiveness than students who directly hunt for job.And here are some statistics that I want to show you .
A survey has been carried out among students in Peking University during 2003 to 2011,and the result shows that the rate of employment among graduate students is about 79.7%.And the result of undergraduate students is 67.4%,which is 12% lower.
What ’s more,the difference of competitiveness also shows in salary.On the basis of an investigation carried out in Shanghai in 2013,the initial salary that graduate students have on average is 3750RMB per month,while undergraduate students can only have 3000RMB,which is 750RMB less.Moreover,we can conclude from the investigation that the higher degree you get,the higher you will be paid when you have a job. In a word,students who go to further education are more competitive,and they have more chances than others after they get their degree.
