4.1.1

ISOLATORS 隔离器 General 概述

(1) Isolators shall be of the off load open type, suitable for daily use in

tunnels and external locations which shall be able to withstand 2A capacitive breaking current.

隔离器应为卸负荷开放型,适合用于隧道中和外部位置(能够承受2安的电容性断开电流)的日常用途。

(2) Isolators shall be operated by a manual or motorised mechanism

acting through operating rods between the mechanism and the isolator. The motorised mechanisms shall enable the isolators to be remotely operated from control consoles connected via the main control system

(3) Isolators shall consist of fixed and pivoted copper plates mounted

on insulators. The copper fittings shall comply with the requirements of Clause 4.7 of this Technical Specification. 隔离器应由安装在绝缘体上的固定的和枢轴的铜板组成。铜配件应符合本技术规范第4.7条中规定的要求。

(4) No traction current shall pass through the hinge pin of the isolator.

Where the hinge is on the live side of the insulator, suitable electrical connections for the current to bypass the hinge pin shall be incorporated in the isolator.

(5) The minimum clearance between open contacts shall be 270mm.

(6) The exposed live parts of an isolator, including connections, shall

be a minimum of 3500mm above the standing point of the isolator operator or adjacent accessible place. Where this cannot be achieved, a screen or other suitable barrier shall be

designed, manufactured and installed by the contractor between the accessible place and the exposed live parts.

(7) Insulators used in the isolator assembly shall comply with the

requirements of Clause 4.4 of this Technical Specification.

(8) Isolators shall be subject to type tests, routine tests, checks and

inspections in accordance with Section 9 of the General Specification and the requirements of EN 50152-2. The routine mechanical operation tests detailed in EN 50152 shall be carried out both in the test laboratory/factory and on site. The site tests shall be undertaken after all connections have been made but before energisation.

应按照一般规范第9节的规定以及EN 50152-2的要求对隔离器进行型式测试、例行测试、核查和检查。应在测试实验室/工厂和现场进行EN 50152中详细说明的例行机械操作测试。在所有联接接好之后,但在通电之前,应进行现场测试。

(9) The fixed and moving parts of installed isolators or their operating

mechanisms shall not infringe the Structure Gauge under any operating condition.

(10) The operating handle, only when operating an isolator, or the

open door of an operating mechanism enclosure may infringe into the space reserved for the maintenance and evacuation walkway.

(11) The isolator operating mechanism shall include a visual indicator

showing the position of the isolator i.e. open/closed for two position isolators and open/closed/earth for three position isolators.

(12) The length of Isolator operation rods shall be easily adjusted on

site during installation.

(13) All the live parts and the moving gears inside the operating

mechanical cubicle shall be properly insulated and shrouded. 操作机械柜内部的所有带电部件和移动装置均应妥善绝缘和覆盖。

(14) Where two isolators arrangement is used in centre section of diamond

crossings, interlocking system in form of electrical / software shall be provided to prevent both isolators are closed at any time.

Manual Operating Mechanism

手动操作装置 4.1.2

(1) A manually operated isolator mechanisms shall be operated by

means of a permanently mounted handle that can be padlocked in the open, closed and, where relevant, earthed positions.

手动操作的隔离器装置应通过永久安装的手柄来操作,可以通过该手柄将其锁定在开、关和接地状态(如相关)。

(2) The handle shall be mounted at a height of approximately 1.0m

above the standing surface of the operator to enable ease of operation. Where this is not possible, a platform with access steps shall be provided. The platform and steps shall be made from galvanised steel and shall be securely fixed in place. The platform shall be directly bonded to the earth terminal provided by Designated Contractor.

Motor Operating Mechanism

(1) A motor operated isolator mechanism shall be operated by a 220V,

50 Hz single phase supply from a 13 amp fused spur unit or main MCB. At multiple isolator locations only one fused spur unit or main MCB will be provided for all the mechanisms. The Contractor shall provide sufficient nos. of sub-MCB for distributing power supply to each isolator per MCB.

(2) The operating mechanism shall be housed in a locked IP65

enclosure with suitably rated anti-condensation heating element and suitable vent so that no condensation shall be trapped in the enclosure.

(3) A local manually operated isolator mechanism by a handle shall be

provided as a fallback when the motor operating mechanism fails.

(4) Separate circuit breakers shall be provided for the operating

mechanism and the anti-condensation element.

(5) In addition to the primary protection, the motor shall be equipped

with thermal or overload protection capable of being reset manually.

(6) The enclosure shall be mounted at a suitable height from the

operator’s standing surface to enable maintenance access and local operation. Where this is not possible, a platform with access steps shall be provided. The platform and steps shall be made from galvanised steel and shall be securely fixed in place. The platform shall be directly bonded to the earth terminal provided by Designated Contractor.

(7) Control cables as specified in Clause 4.3.3 shall be connected

between the operating mechanism and the main control system marshalling cubicle located as identified in the Particular Specification and on the Drawings.

(8) The motorized isolators shall have three control positions: local,

isolated, remote. In the local position, the operation of isolators shall be achieved by means of two push-buttons, one “open” and the other “close”. The isolated position shall render the isolator inoperative by disconnecting the 220V AC supply. In the “remote” position, the isolators shall receive signals from and be controlled by MCS from the Control Room. The master control of the motorized isolators shall be at the isolator location.

(9) A local override switch mounted within the operating mechanism

enclosure shall enable the mechanism to be switched locally to manual operation, and isolate the remote/ local electrical control during operation.

一个安装在操作装置外壳内的本地超控开关应能够使装置在本地开启以进行手动操作,并隔离操作过程中的远程/本地电气控制。

(10) If the override switch is concealed under cover, the cover shall be

opened by padlock only without the need of tools.

如果超控开关隐藏在盖子下面,这个盖子应在不需要工具的情形下仅由挂锁开启。

(11) Each operating mechanism of the OHL isolators shall be secured

with one corrosion-resistant and robust padlock to prevent unauthorized operation. Each padlock shall have two keys unique to that padlock. The padlock and keys shall be numbered with the isolator number in accordance with the Sectioning Diagrams. Ten master keys shall also be required. The master key shall open all the isolator padlocks in the System.

Infeed cables to the isolator shall be fixed by brackets such that the cable weight will not burden the isolator body.

ISOLATORS 隔离器 General 概述

(1) Isolators shall be of the off load open type, suitable for daily use in

(3) Isolators shall consist of fixed and pivoted copper plates mounted

Manual Operating Mechanism

(1) A manually operated isolator mechanisms shall be operated by

Motor Operating Mechanism

(1) A motor operated isolator mechanism shall be operated by a 220V,

(8) The motorized isolators shall have three control positions: local,

isolated, remote. In the local position, the operation of isolators shall be achieved by means of two push-buttons, one “open” and the other “close”. (11) Each operating mechanism of the OHL isolators shall be secured

with one corrosion-resistant and robust padlock to prevent unauthorized operation. Each padlock shall have two keys unique to that padlock. The padlock and keys shall be numbered with the isolator number in accordance with the Sectioning Diagrams. Ten master keys shall also be required. The master key shall open all the isolator padlocks in the System.
