For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: 万物皆有期，凡事皆有时。
a time to be born, and a time to die;
生有时，死有时；
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
栽种有时，拔除有时；
a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 杀戮有时，医治有时；
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
哭泣有时，欢笑有时；
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
悲恸有时，雀跃有时；
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
抛石有时，堆砌有时；
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
拥抱有时，挣脱有时；
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
寻找有时，失去有时；
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
留存有时，舍弃有时；
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
撕扯有时，缝补有时；
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
沉默有时，言语有时；
a time to love, and a time to hate;
爱慕有时，憎恨有时；
a time for war, and a time for peace.
战争有时，和平有时。
