对河南省新型城镇化的认识
摘要：新型城镇化是以城乡统筹、城乡一体、产城互动、节约集约、生态宜居、和谐发展为基本特征的城镇化，是大中小城市、小城镇、新型农村社区协调发展、互促共进的城镇化。河南是中国大省人口最多的省更是相对贫困落后的省，对于寻找发展突破口，顺应发展潮流更好更快走上新型城镇化道路更是迫切。

城镇化是区域发展的历史趋势，但传统城镇化日益显现出种种弊端，新型城镇化便呼之欲出。河南是中国大省人口最多的省更是相对贫困落后的省，对于寻找发展突破口，顺应发展潮流更好更快走上新型城镇化道路更是迫切。
城镇化一般意义上是指农村人口转化为城镇人口的过程。 反映城镇化水平高低的一个重要指标为城镇化率，即一个地区常住于城镇的人口占该地区总人口的比例。城镇化是人口持续向城镇集聚的过程，是世界各国工业化进程中必然经历的历史阶段。
