作文是英语知识水平的综合素质体现,它要求同学们既要有扎实的语言基本功,又要具备一定的审题能力、想象能力、表达能力、评价能力及书法排版能力。因为基本功不扎实,多数同学在作文时总会出现这样或者那样的问题,例如,文体不符、词汇误用、句子单一等,造成作文的得分较低,影响了总的英语成绩。因此,作文能力不强一直是同学们比较普遍的问题。其实归结起来,作文“缺钙”一共有四类症状,深入地剖析这些症状,就能找到作文偏科的根本原因,同时写作时适当地套用一些模板,给写作能力“缺钙”的同学好好进补。

症状一文体格式混乱

【表现】读了作文要求之后,提笔就写——明明要求写一封表达建议的书信,结果写成了议论文;或者明明要求写说明文,偏偏写成了记叙文;或者总算文体没有弄错,结果写通知误用日记的格式,写书信又误用通知的格式。

【症结】平时缺乏作文文体方面的针对性训练,对英语作文的几种常用文体及其相应的写作格式不熟悉,拿到写作材料习惯性地对写作要求一扫而过,提笔就写自己最熟悉的格式。

【突破之道】明确文体和对应格式

常用文体有记叙文、说明文、议论文还有应用文等。近几年的高考(Q吧)书面表达多以应用文为主,提供的形式多以图画、提纲、表格出现,书写的格式大都是书信、通知。所以,同学们应该掌握书信的称呼、开头、正文、结尾、签名等方面,另外,口头通知和书面通知的不同要清楚。总之,同学们应根据写作提示分析材料,明确写作文体和其相应的格式。

症状二时态人称混乱

【表现】作文时,时态和人称运用混乱——时态方面,要么整篇文章都是一种时态(以一般现在时、一般过去时居多),要么就是一段甚至一句话中出现三种以上的时态;人称方面,要么文章开头是第一人称,写到文中甚至文末就成了第二、第三人称,要么前面是单数人称,写着写着就变成复数人称。

【症结】英语基础知识不牢固,对英语中时态和人称所代表的含义及其运用掌握不足,因此无法根据文体来选择正确的时态和人称而滥用或者混用。

【突破之道】明确时态和人称

同学们要根据选好的文体和写作内容确定时态和人称。一般来说,记人叙事多用一般过去时;发布通知多用一般将来时和祈使句式;发表议论大多用带有情态动词的一般现在时;人物介绍、现状说明常用一般现在时和现在完成时。定准时态后接下来一定要知道各时态的构成及用法要点,但要记住,写作时时态并不唯一,要依据表达内容而选定正确的时态。人称方面则要注意前后统一,避免出现前后人称属性或者单复数不一致的情况。

症状三词汇运用混乱

【表现】经常出现乱用词语的现象,同时使用一些较难的、较长的、用法不熟悉的单词,或者明明用一些简单的词汇就能够很清楚地表达意思,偏偏要选择一些难度较大的、不常用的表达方式。

【症结】写作时对文章的脉络把握不足就匆匆下笔,对其中所需的词汇和常用表达方式理解记忆不牢固。平时练习时,习惯性地忽略一些形式简单但用途较广泛的基本词汇和表达方式,喜欢选择复杂的词汇和表达方式。

【突破之道】确定所需主要词汇和所用表达结构

应该根据文章体裁和内容逐个确定写作要点。对于图画和图表可在草稿纸上用中文列出并理清要点,然后选词造句,要注意语言的准确得当,力求用最简洁的话表达准确的意思。同时,平时写作要多进行发散思维,同学们应学会尽可能避免使用较高级的语法结构和词汇,如非谓语动词、复合句等,以免造成过失性失分.

症状四语序句序混乱

【表现】作文的语序、句序混乱,通常这里写一点,跳过去又另起一点,这样造成要么文章洋洋洒洒一大篇却全是废话,没有中心和重点,什么都没有表达清楚;要么通篇没有适当的过渡词、句,整篇文章一“逗”到底,密密麻麻让人找不着北。

【症结】平时练习时不注意表达的连贯性,想到哪里就写到哪里,写作之前没有列提纲的习惯,不去深入思索怎样表达才能达到最好的效果,从而造成整篇文章逻辑思维混乱,层次不清晰。

【突破之道】整理成篇行文连贯

同学们应该根据写作内容列好简要提纲,分清文章的层次,确定详略,写好的单句要重新排列组合起来,使之前后连贯成一篇完整的文章。同时选用恰当的关联词或句子使文章过渡自然,行文流畅。另外,该分段时要分段,这样文章才能中心突出,一目了然,整篇作文才能如行云流水般整齐划一。 2008万能英语模板

高三英语备考第二轮复习要义 (续)

1. 制定短期可行的计划

随着高考临近,一些考生会表现出焦躁不安,胡子眉毛一把抓,不分主次等现象。此时应当保持良好的心态,根据自己的实际情况制定切实可行的复习计划(包括每天的和每周的),做到按部就班,有条不紊,循序渐进。

2. 回归基础,突出对主干知识的复习

高考英语改革虽然从强调知识的考查向注重综合语言运用能力考查转变,但还应认识到能力必须依托基础。尤其到复习后期,很多考生都有这样的感觉:很多题目“一看就会,一做就错”。造成这种现象的根本原因在于知识掌握不牢固。只有扎扎实实地从基础做起,才能“一看就会,一做就对”。从词汇、语法、句型等最为基础的知识点抓起。词汇复习应做到不间断,反复巩固。除了记忆和理解之外,尤其要注意常用词汇的使用和辨析,以及一词多义的掌握。语法复习要理清基本概念,着重复习主干知识。比如,动词的时态、语态、非谓语动词、情态动词等,都是高考常涉及的知识点。

3. 突出阅读能力培养

高考英语阅读理解是对英语知识运用的考查,它是占全卷篇幅最大、内容最多、记分最高、区分度最明显的一种题型。阅读理解题旨在测试考生的阅读速度、阅读技巧、理解能力和摄取书面信息的能力。

换句话说:阅读理解既注重语言能力的测试,也注重思维能力的考查,是一种高层次的语言综合能力。复习中深挖细究阅读理解题型的解题思路和答题技巧,诸如细读、掠读、跳读、避免不必要的回读、科学猜词、根据题干和作者意图快速搜寻相关信息等种种方法应该说都是必要的。但要突破阅读关,最主要的是解决好“三量”问题---词汇量、阅读量、阅读质量。

(1) 词汇量

词汇量是阅读的前提。人的词汇量中有三分之二以上属于情景词汇—即在文中、情景中即可识辨的、不必单独认识的词汇。很多这样的词是利用偏旁部首(构词法)派生出来的。因此阅读训练必须扩大输入量,在大量阅读中逐步积累词汇,加深对词义、词用的体验。其次,要有意识地让学生利用报刊杂志、网络媒体、广播电视等多种学习资源开展课外阅读活动,以达到开阔视野、丰富词汇知识、提高词义迁移能力和获得流行词语、英语最新发展的感性体验的多重目的。

(2) 阅读量

阅读数量是阅读质量提高的基础和前提。没有一定量的积累,就不会有质的飞跃。每天坚持读两篇到三篇难度适中、时代气息浓、原汁原味,内容涉及生活实际、社会现实、可读性较强的小短文,那么,日积月累就会轻松完成1000篇的最低阅读量,并通过阅读有意识地培养阅读技巧。

(3) 阅读质量

一般来说,阅读质量的保证需要五个步骤的强化训练。第一步是读文章作理解题。第二步是朗读背诵经典句段。第三步是研读重点词汇和分析长难句。第四步是赏析文章写作特色和作者谋篇布局的风格手段。第五步是口译或心译。

阅读能力的提高而应经过长期的、大量的阅读积累。

4.写作长抓不懈

书面表达越来越成为取胜高考的重要因素。高考重视写作是有道理的。书面表达能真实地反映出考生的语言综合表达能力,体现运用英语的水平。下面是一些作文训练方法.

(1) 从简单句入手,以写小词为主,适当采用汉译英的方式,以培养学生单句表达能力,旨在正确把握句意,并能熟练运用基本句型描述句意。

(2) 重点练习写事、写人、写物及写对话。这几项是基础,练好这几项,其它写通知、写信、看图写话和简单议论也就不难了。

(3) 连词成句,组句成段。

1) however 2) instead 3) furthermore 4) therefore 5) in the meanwhile 6) for instance 7) on the contrary 8) in conclusion 9) worth still 10) all of a sudden

通过分句和合句,增强句子的连贯性和表现力。避免只使用单一句式,以及灵活运用定语从句、分词等较复杂语言表达形式。

(4) 坚持经常性的背诵。写作需要大量素材,所以平时的素材积累尤为重要,否则临场发挥就会出现“挤牙膏式”的困境。因此平时教学除了让学生积累一定的词汇外,还应尽量多地摘抄、背诵一些美文佳句,达到培养语感、丰富文化积淀、提高书面表达的地道性和流畅性的目的。例如:

(5) 一句多译,开拓思维。学生的行文单调乏味,并不只是因为积累不够。有的学生积累了很多的词汇和表达法,但写作时仍然习惯性地使用最常见最普通的结构,而不能把所学所记的拿出来大胆使用。所以我们老师要经常要求学生对同一句话使用多种表达法,引导他们有意识地纠正固有的模式,打破原有的习惯。例如“他 7 岁了”可译为:

He is 7 years old. / He is a 7-year-old boy./ He is at the age of 7./ He was born 7 years ago.

(6) 精彩首句,凸现个性。高考作文受篇幅所限,需要学生在短短一百多个词的作文里展示自己的语言表达能力。要求争取首句精彩,起到先声夺人的效果,尽量把自己的语言能力和精彩之处展示得清晰醒目。

(7) 严格要求,规范习惯。在平时作文训练中,我们还应知道每一篇习作都应注意应试规范。如:要点齐全、书写整洁、避免语法错误、注意交际对象、格式正确、字数适宜等原则。

5.建立“错误档案”,及时查漏补缺。高考后期结合《考试大纲》和《高考词汇表》进行查漏补缺特别重要。对大纲中新增加的词汇和历届高考中出现频率较高的词汇的用法都要特别注意。将做过的试卷整理后,建立错题档案,弥补知识漏洞,进行强化记忆和训练。比如,在建立错题档案时发现非谓语动词,从句方面出错率比较高,就应该强化复习这方面的知识,并注意对这些题的分析过程,到考试前在回顾、反思、比较、消化,以期达到今后遇到同类试题不再出错的目的。

6.提高准确率,加强规范性

应严格的按照高考的要求规范答题,避免无谓的失分。

二轮复习具有承一轮之点滴基础启三轮之综合运用的作用,是复习中的重要环节,希望考生以自身的学习程度为基础,以高频考点为向导,踏实认真复习,冷静沉着应考,冲破高考英语的障碍,取得优异成绩。

【突破之道】明确文体和对应格式

常用文体有记叙文、说明文、议论文还有应用文等。近几年的高考(Q吧)书面表达多以应用文为主,提供的形式多以图画、提纲、表格出现,书写的格式大都是书信、通知。所以,同学们应该掌握书信的称呼、开头、正文、结尾、签名等方面,另外,口头通知和书面通知的不同要清楚。总之,同学们应根据写作提示分析材料,明确写作文体和其相应的格式。

症状二时态人称混乱

【表现】作文时,时态和人称运用混乱——时态方面,要么整篇文章都是一种时态(以一般现在时、一般过去时居多),要么就是一段甚至一句话中出现三种以上的时态;人称方面,要么文章开头是第一人称,写到文中甚至文末就成了第二、第三人称,要么前面是单数人称,写着写着就变成复数人称。

【症结】英语基础知识不牢固,对英语中时态和人称所代表的含义及其运用掌握不足,因此无法根据文体来选择正确的时态和人称而滥用或者混用。

【突破之道】明确时态和人称

同学们要根据选好的文体和写作内容确定时态和人称。一般来说,记人叙事多用一般过去时;发布通知多用一般将来时和祈使句式;发表议论大多用带有情态动词的一般现在时;人物介绍、现状说明常用一般现在时和现在完成时。定准时态后接下来一定要知道各时态的构成及用法要点,但要记住,写作时时态并不唯一,要依据表达内容而选定正确的时态。人称方面则要注意前后统一,避免出现前后人称属性或者单复数不一致的情况。

症状三词汇运用混乱

【表现】经常出现乱用词语的现象,同时使用一些较难的、较长的、用法不熟悉的单词,或者明明用一些简单的词汇就能够很清楚地表达意思,偏偏要选择一些难度较大的、不常用的表达方式。

【症结】写作时对文章的脉络把握不足就匆匆下笔,对其中所需的词汇和常用表达方式理解记忆不牢固。平时练习时,习惯性地忽略一些形式简单但用途较广泛的基本词汇和表达方式,喜欢选择复杂的词汇和表达方式。

【突破之道】确定所需主要词汇和所用表达结构

应该根据文章体裁和内容逐个确定写作要点。对于图画和图表可在草稿纸上用中文列出并理清要点,然后选词造句,要注意语言的准确得当,力求用最简洁的话表达准确的意思。同时,平时写作要多进行发散思维,同学们应学会尽可能避免使用较高级的语法结构和词汇,如非谓语动词、复合句等,以免造成过失性失分.

症状四语序句序混乱

【表现】作文的语序、句序混乱,通常这里写一点,跳过去又另起一点,这样造成要么文章洋洋洒洒一大篇却全是废话,没有中心和重点,什么都没有表达清楚;要么通篇没有适当的过渡词、句,整篇文章一“逗”到底,密密麻麻让人找不着北。

【突破之道】整理成篇行文连贯

高三英语备考第二轮复习要义 (续)

1. 制定短期可行的计划

随着高考临近,一些考生会表现出焦躁不安,胡子眉毛一把抓,不分主次等现象。此时应当保持良好的心态,根据自己的实际情况制定切实可行的复习计划(包括每天的和每周的),做到按部就班,有条不紊,循序渐进。

2. 回归基础,突出对主干知识的复习

高考英语改革虽然从强调知识的考查向注重综合语言运用能力考查转变,但还应认识到能力必须依托基础。尤其到复习后期,很多考生都有这样的感觉:很多题目“一看就会,一做就错”。造成这种现象的根本原因在于知识掌握不牢固。只有扎扎实实地从基础做起,才能“一看就会,一做就对”。从词汇、语法、句型等最为基础的知识点抓起。词汇复习应做到不间断,反复巩固。除了记忆和理解之外,尤其要注意常用词汇的使用和辨析,以及一词多义的掌握。语法复习要理清基本概念,着重复习主干知识。比如,动词的时态、语态、非谓语动词、情态动词等,都是高考常涉及的知识点。

3. 突出阅读能力培养

高考英语阅读理解是对英语知识运用的考查,它是占全卷篇幅最大、内容最多、记分最高、区分度最明显的一种题型。阅读理解题旨在测试考生的阅读速度、阅读技巧、理解能力和摄取书面信息的能力。

换句话说:阅读理解既注重语言能力的测试,也注重思维能力的考查,是一种高层次的语言综合能力。复习中深挖细究阅读理解题型的解题思路和答题技巧,诸如细读、掠读、跳读、避免不必要的回读、科学猜词、根据题干和作者意图快速搜寻相关信息等种种方法应该说都是必要的。但要突破阅读关,最主要的是解决好“三量”问题---词汇量、阅读量、阅读质量。

(1) 词汇量

词汇量是阅读的前提。人的词汇量中有三分之二以上属于情景词汇—即在文中、情景中即可识辨的、不必单独认识的词汇。很多这样的词是利用偏旁部首(构词法)派生出来的。因此阅读训练必须扩大输入量,在大量阅读中逐步积累词汇,加深对词义、词用的体验。其次,要有意识地让学生利用报刊杂志、网络媒体、广播电视等多种学习资源开展课外阅读活动,以达到开阔视野、丰富词汇知识、提高词义迁移能力和获得流行词语、英语最新发展的感性体验的多重目的。

(2) 阅读量

阅读数量是阅读质量提高的基础和前提。没有一定量的积累,就不会有质的飞跃。每天坚持读两篇到三篇难度适中、时代气息浓、原汁原味,内容涉及生活实际、社会现实、可读性较强的小短文,那么,日积月累就会轻松完成1000篇的最低阅读量,并通过阅读有意识地培养阅读技巧。

(3) 阅读质量

一般来说,阅读质量的保证需要五个步骤的强化训练。第一步是读文章作理解题。第二步是朗读背诵经典句段。第三步是研读重点词汇和分析长难句。第四步是赏析文章写作特色和作者谋篇布局的风格手段。第五步是口译或心译。

阅读能力的提高而应经过长期的、大量的阅读积累。

4.写作长抓不懈

书面表达越来越成为取胜高考的重要因素。高考重视写作是有道理的。书面表达能真实地反映出考生的语言综合表达能力,体现运用英语的水平。下面是一些作文训练方法.

(1) 从简单句入手,以写小词为主,适当采用汉译英的方式,以培养学生单句表达能力,旨在正确把握句意,并能熟练运用基本句型描述句意。

(2) 重点练习写事、写人、写物及写对话。这几项是基础,练好这几项,其它写通知、写信、看图写话和简单议论也就不难了。

(3) 连词成句,组句成段。

通过分句和合句,增强句子的连贯性和表现力。避免只使用单一句式,以及灵活运用定语从句、分词等较复杂语言表达形式。

(4) 坚持经常性的背诵。写作需要大量素材,所以平时的素材积累尤为重要,否则临场发挥就会出现“挤牙膏式”的困境。因此平时教学除了让学生积累一定的词汇外,还应尽量多地摘抄、背诵一些美文佳句,达到培养语感、丰富文化积淀、提高书面表达的地道性和流畅性的目的。例如:

(5) 一句多译,开拓思维。学生的行文单调乏味,并不只是因为积累不够。有的学生积累了很多的词汇和表达法,但写作时仍然习惯性地使用最常见最普通的结构,而不能把所学所记的拿出来大胆使用。所以我们老师要经常要求学生对同一句话使用多种表达法,引导他们有意识地纠正固有的模式,打破原有的习惯。例如“他 7 岁了”可译为:

He is 7 years old. / He is a 7-year-old boy./ He is at the age of 7./ He was born 7 years ago.

(6) 精彩首句,凸现个性。高考作文受篇幅所限,需要学生在短短一百多个词的作文里展示自己的语言表达能力。要求争取首句精彩,起到先声夺人的效果,尽量把自己的语言能力和精彩之处展示得清晰醒目。

(7) 严格要求,规范习惯。在平时作文训练中,我们还应知道每一篇习作都应注意应试规范。如:要点齐全、书写整洁、避免语法错误、注意交际对象、格式正确、字数适宜等原则。

5.建立“错误档案”,及时查漏补缺。高考后期结合《考试大纲》和《高考词汇表》进行查漏补缺特别重要。对大纲中新增加的词汇和历届高考中出现频率较高的词汇的用法都要特别注意。将做过的试卷整理后,建立错题档案,弥补知识漏洞,进行强化记忆和训练。比如,在建立错题档案时发现非谓语动词,从句方面出错率比较高,就应该强化复习这方面的知识,并注意对这些题的分析过程,到考试前在回顾、反思、比较、消化,以期达到今后遇到同类试题不再出错的目的。

6.提高准确率,加强规范性

应严格的按照高考的要求规范答题,避免无谓的失分。
