There are catastrophic environmental problems created by human actions, such as the pollution of the seas and the soil with oil and other materials, the poisoning of lakes and rivers, and the release of chemicals into the atmosphere. By considering these problems in their totality, one
is led to the conclusion that mankind’s existence is more and more threatened. Therefore, scientists and engineers are endeavoring to improve ecological safety.
This course will mainly include the following contents: 1. Definition of ecological safety; 2. System analysis of organism-environment interactions; 3. Human actions and ecological safety; 4.
