Once upon a time there was a farmer who worked hard in the fields every day.One day,while he was ploughing the fields,he heard a
bumping sound. He saw a dead rabbit .He thought to himself ,"Since it is so easy to get a rabbit like that, why should I work so hard all day long"He threw his hoe away and lay by the tree every
day,dreaming for more rabbits to come.When he finally realized his foolish,he starved to death.
The story told us no pain ,no gain , no one can reap where one has not sown.

2. The Thirsty Pigeon口渴的鸽子
A PIGEON, oppressed by excessive thirst, saw a goblet of water painted on a signboard. Not supposing it to be only a picture, she flew towards it with a loud whir and unwittingly dashed against the signboard, jarring herself terribly. Having broken her wings by the blow, she fell to the ground, and was caught by one of the bystanders.
Zeal should not outrun discretion.

„Nay, master, nay,‟ said Lambikin; „if the water be muddy up there, I cannot be the cause of it, for it runs down from you to me.‟

"就算这样吧。"狼说，"你总是个坏家伙，我听说，去年你在背地里说我的坏话"。 "啊，亲爱的狼先生，"可怜的小羊喊道，"那是不会有的事，去年我还没出世哪." 狼觉得用不着再争辩了，就龇着牙咆哮着，逼近小羊，说："你这个小坏蛋！说我坏话的不是你就是你爸爸，反正都一样。"说着就扑到小羊身上，抓住它，把它吃掉了给您带来更多幼儿故事
